Gary's Custom Rod & Reel repairs rods and reels for a number of area bait and tackle shops and also for individuals.

Prices for cleaning and oiling reels are as follows:

  • Spin Cast Reels - $ 14.50
  • Spinning Reels - $16.50
  • Bait Cast Reels - $17.50
  • Down Rigger Reels - $25.00
  • Calcutta Reels - $35.00

Reels coming in for cleaning and oiling are completely taken apart and all parts are cleaned. At this time all the parts are inspected. If any parts need to be replaced you will be contacted regarding any additional cost for parts. The decision to replace the parts is then yours to make. There is no additional labor because the reel is apart at this time. If you decide not to fix the reel there is a minimum tear down and inspection fee of $10.00.

Reels can be sent to Gary's Custom Rod & Reel via U.S. Mail. Please make sure you have insured it. We WILL NOT be responsible for reels that are lost coming to the shop. Repair costs can be prepaid by check or we will ship C. O. D..
